Danielle has worked in many roles in both public and
academic libraries. She earned her MLS at the
Bloomington campus of Indiana University (http://www.iub.edu).
It was at IU that she first gained an appreciation
for the conservation profession while working in
General Collections Conservation at the E. Lingle
Craig Preservation Lab (http://www.libraries.iub.edu/index.php?pageId=289).
General collections conservation taught her a deep
respect for all materials and gave her an
understanding of the financial difficulties involved
in caring for them.
In 2006, Danielle joined Etherington Conservation
Services – Midwest. She is committed to providing
sound treatments at an affordable price and looks
forward to continuing the tradition of excellent
service and quality of work that has long been a
hallmark of our conservation services. As more and
more libraries realize the importance of preserving
their collections, she looks forward to guiding the
growth of the conservation unit to meet the wide
variety of conservation needs that the future holds.
Danielle grew up in the St. Louis region of Missouri
and, while she loves to travel, she will always
consider the Midwest her home.
